India has long embarked upon a mission namely 'ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT'. While it is true that international market boundaries are opening up, this mission requires more MARKETING ORIENTATION among entrepreneurs. Indian enterprises of different natures lag behind when it comes to the application of the science of Marketing Management. The reason is simple - no formal learning on the subject and perhaps the next-gen member has also not acquired the knowledge of this subject. On the flip side, I am raising a point about the availability of this knowledge only through structured MBA programs. Should marketing management learning be only through institutes or universities? Why? Can this not be provided by individual qualified marketing professionals to the enterprise team either individually or as a community group (I mean sessions planned by the industry association for their members). Do share your thoughts, please. Also, attend one POLL created on the subject.
Should marketing management learning be only through institutes or universities?
- YES, because hired qualified professional will handle it
- NO, learning will enable its application and decision making
